Contest Details

A consciousness-lifting contest to compel, ideate, and collaborate in the midst of racial, civil unrest in America.

Ms. America, known as the land of dreams, has just been gifted - though painfully - with an opportunity to raise her consciousness and make moral corrections for the wrongs that continue to stain her precious soil. As we continue to witness some of the largest displays of civil unrest around the WORLD (all of which include people of varying genders, classes, cultures, and races), the time for equality has never been more urgent.  What we need now is an act of courage and hope that can usher America's people into the state of equality her constitution promises to provide.

There is no better time to allow uninhibited, creative expression to serve as a conduit for the love, care, concern, and compassion each of us deserves. Now is the time to offer our gifts and talents as a means for serving, liberating, and healing each other as we navigate toward a new, healthier norm.   Generating a sense of unity and solidarity among groups of people is imperative during this monumental era.

TheRhyze’s mission is to merge the collective desire to live fully expressed lives without shame or apology, with the aspiration for inciting positive social change. Thus, we welcome creatives to join us in our effort to do SOMETHING, to contribute to the very change we wish to see in our world. Here's what we envision that "something" to be: the creation of a flag that represents the freedom, equality, and solidarity for which we all yearn. And, yes, we’d like you to help us design this monumental symbol that will hopefully carry forward the momentum required for America to fully repent for her original sin.

Much like many social movements that transpired throughout history, some of which resulted in the creation of a symbolic flag to further their cause, (for instance, the rainbow flag/symbol representing the LGBTQI community’s demand for equality), TheRhyze! recognizes an opportunity to use creative design and illustration as a means of perpetuating the momentous fight for justice and equality; to inspire the oppressed to use their pain and trauma as fuel for empowerment and advancement;  to rise up and speak out for those who feel they have no voice.  For creatives who feel compelled to take a stance for the uplift of humanity, we welcome your participation.

We are calling all creatives (artists, illustrators, and graphic designers) who are interested in offering their talents as a contribution, a stance, or the furthering of social justice to submit their entries now.

Stand with TheRhyze! in creative solidarity to advance humanity and social justice for any of the following causes:
